Positioned along the remote shoreline of Northern Idaho, this lakefront retreat was conceived as a refined sanctuary immersed within the surrounding natural landscape. Platner Studio developed the interiors as an extension of the environment itself, drawing upon the textures, tones, and stillness of the lake, forest, and mountain terrain to inform the overall design language.

The home balances rustic authenticity with elevated restraint through tailored detailing, natural stone, warm woods, and understated custom furnishings. Expansive gathering spaces are softened by intimate moments of retreat, creating an atmosphere that feels simultaneously grounded, sophisticated, and deeply restorative.
